Florin Boicu, a native of Romania, has always had a passion for creating high-quality homes. At the age of 12, he moved to the Union MO area with his family, seeking better opportunities. Growing up, Florin witnessed his father’s struggle to find work, which eventually led them to relocate to the Seattle area in the early 90s.
Florin began his career as an electrician, honing his skills in both commercial and residential projects. As his expertise grew, he ventured into remodeling homes, gaining valuable experience along the way. Inspired by his love for craftsmanship and design, Florin decided to take on a new role as a developer for his own projects.
Specializing in luxury single-family homes and 2-7 unit townhomes, Florin pours his heart and soul into every aspect of the development process. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence have earned him a reputation for delivering exceptional homes that surpass expectations.
Despite his success, Florin always felt a pull back to the Union/Washington area. The weather and geography remind him of his roots in Romania, evoking a sense of nostalgia and belonging. It was this deep connection that motivated Florin along with his brother Dino to establish BDF Developments in Missouri.
